About the course

The Certified Wellness Program Manager (CWPM), or WellCert Level 2 builds on skills laid down in Level 1 concerning the design and early implementation of employee wellness programs to now emphasize the main operational challenges. Level 2 covers key topics such as: using AMSO to enhance program effectiveness, overcoming stakeholder objections, vendor selection and management, maximizing participation, using wellness incentives, using self-service technology, getting the most from biometric testing and coaching, budgeting strategies,  measuring ROI and VOI, addressing well-being and building employee trust.  Our approach is highly-practical, focusing most instructional time enhancing your skills and preparing you to deliver results.

The online certification program begins with registration on our website and purchase of the WellCert Program Course. There may be a short delay while the credit card purchase is cleared.

Each registrant then receives:

• An immediate email acknowledging your purchase including a link to download the 220+ page Course Workbook in a PDF format.
• Immediate 24/7 access to the online Course beginning with the Orientation Module.
• Within 5 – 10 business days a hard copy of the 220+ page Course Workbook is sent via Federal Express.
• Access to a mini-quiz at the end of each of the thirteen (13) learning modules to test your comprehension of the material.
• Once all the learning modules and quizzes have been completed, an opportunity to complete a 3 part online Final Exam.
• A congratulatory email and the eCertificate of Completion is then emailed to the successful participant.
• Inclusion of your name on the official WellCert Registry
• Free membership on the Chapman Institute website with document search, monthly phone conference calls, unlimited access to learning modules and research service.
• Twice monthly editions of the WellCert Connections email newsletter.

The certification process begins by viewing the Orientation Module that provides a briefing on the process and background content of the course.  A paper copy of the Course Workbook is sent via Federal Express to each participant for note-taking purposes.  Most participants complete all 13 learning modules and the 3 part Final Exam within 3 months from purchasing the course.

The general process used through-out the course is for participants to view each learning module at their own pace, complete the 4 exercises in the Course Workbook, take the mini-quiz for each module and then when all 13 modules have been completed they then complete the online 3 part Final Exam.  Submission of all 3 parts of the final exam then triggers grading and award of their certificate of completion.

The Level 2 CWPM online Final Exam consists of the following parts:

CWPM Exam Part 1 – 40 true-false questions and 40 multiple choice questions that are auto-graded
CWPM Exam Part 2 – 4 essay questions that are graded by the Master Instructor
CWPM Evaluation – 10 questions on the course and your experience and satisfaction with it
