This large health system experience with an HRA provides many useful insights for worksite wellness practitioners.  The report reveals that HRA adoption was steady and methodical when supported by health care practitioners. The purpose of this study published in the American Journal of Managed Care was to examine uptake patterns of the electronic health risk assessment (eHRA) and compare characteristics of early adopters among adults in the healthcare system with those of the potentially eligible population.  The study concluded that significant additional outreach, engagement strategies, and incentives are likely required by health systems to increase adoption and ongoing use of an eHRA among target populations.  Published: 2014
