This JOEM article by Goetzel et al. is the strongest consensus statement on the general and economic effectiveness of worksite wellness programs to date. This informal consensus statement published in JOEM from most of the luminaries of the worksite wellness field is the most balanced confirmation of the effectiveness of worksite wellness programs we have seen.  It is in direct response to four recent “studies” that pan wellness program’s effectiveness. Use this information to address critics and to push for movement to more of a “results-oriented” type of wellness programming.
