New Ideas for Making your Program more Effective

This CE module provides a description of a number of newer programming strategies and concepts that can be used to enhance the effectiveness of worksite wellness programs.  The effectiveness of wellness programs is determined by four major dimensions including: long term behavioral changes in a variety of major health behaviors (risk reduction), change in knowledge and skills around medical self-care and consumer health education (health care utilization), changes in injury prevention practices (injury prevention) and improvements in productivity.  The strategies discussed here are intended to strengthen the hierarchy of results for wellness programs.
