How Wellness Programs Create Behavior Change

This module examines some of the findings concerning the behavioral effectiveness of Worksite Wellness programming. Beginning with a set of eleven literatures reviews that were published in the American Journal of Health Promotion and then moving into a discussion of some of the implications of more recent studies. A framework for program effectiveness developed by Michael O’Donnell is then presented called the AMSO framework.
