This tool provides an overview of what an “ideal” long term wellness incentive program might look like. Short term 3-8 week wellness challenges can be conducted periodically, but the long term wellness incentive program is critical in giving each employee a tangible opportunity to decide once a year if they….”want to get on the wellness bus!” We actually want every employee to have that opportunity at least once each year! The ideal wellness incentive program utilizes multiple wellness criteria, participation and outcome measures, alternative standards, notification tips and recommended sentinel features.
