This publication provides an overview of a practical metric framework that can be used to guide the implementation and evaluation of an Health and Productivity Management (HPM) approach. It is intended to provide a pragmatic theoretical and operational structure for the conducting a needs assessment process, design and introduction of interventions, tracking of intermediate effects and measurement and tracking of ultimate outcomes. The HPM framework presented below sets the stage for the choice of a logical sequence of planning steps as well as the on-going management of interventions.
