The 2013 State of American Well-Being study contains extensive community, state and congressional district data on American wellness.  You can use this data to provide comparisons between your population’s data and that of cities and states they live in on a broad range of well-being issues.  The resource can also help you broaden your program to focus on well-being.  From the resource: “The Gallup-Healthways Well-Being Index is a barometer of Americans’ perceptions of their well-being. The national, annual well-being score is unique because while it is affected to some extent by national events, such as economic fluctuations or natural occurrences, it also accurately captures a more nuanced picture of the state of our nation across the factors impacting our daily lives.”   Published: 2013
